Don’t touch

an installation of bodies

Anna Konjetzky’s “Don’t touch” is an installation of bodies: the bodies of dancers, the bodies in the photographs by Alvin Booth, projections of bodies – “sewn together” with light, sound, and above all by the spectator. A spatial composition on the body, nothing else but the body and by way of it other things become visible: sexuality, pain, sensuality, physical conditions of any kind. “Don’t touch” illuminates the precarious border between violence and beauty, poetry and brutality, sadness and despair. A border that is likely to be transgresed at any moment.
